Puppy 6-12 months

Sterilisation
Most pets are neutered at about 6 months of age. There are reasons for and against early sterilisation.

Feeding
There are 2 types of obesity in dogs.

Chewing
You will have to contend with a puppy that probably wants to chew everything in sight over the time when he is teething.

Deworm
You may not be able to see obvious worms in your dog’s stool at this age but about 50% of adult dogs harbour intestinal parasites.
