Biting and nipping
We tolerate rough and tumble with puppies when their jaws aren’t strong enough to do any damage but when they develop both sharp teeth and some strength it’s not so fun anymore. It’s best to start as you mean to go on.

Teething
Puppies grow a set of 28 teeth by the time they are 8 weeks old. The teething process happens over several months from 3 months of age where they lose their incisors (front teeth) followed by the premolars and then canines (fangs).
